Maddy Loucas (b. 1993) is a fine art & commercial photographer, and visual artist. She specializes in landscape, portraiture, and architectural photography. Drawing from her inspiration of design, storytelling and the interconnectedness of humans and the environment, Maddy's photography explores the intersection of these themes, and offers her viewers different perspectives of the subject matter. Maddy’s photographs have been shown in galleries across the United States, and published in various independent magazines over the past decade. Her fine art photography has also been commissioned by corporate clients for interior spaces. Maddy has dedicated her time to art organizations, such as the International Center of Photography (2016), and Goucher College (2014) to maintain the facilities and teach others about photography. Maddy received her Bachelors of Art in Communication & Media Studies from Goucher College in 2014. She began her journey with photography in high school learning the medium through 35mm film and darkroom processes. As her interest in photography expanded, Maddy continued to study and teach photography to others, as well as expand her technique by incorporating studio lighting into her work.
